The Sea Land Travel Bosphorus cruise is one of the cheapest booked-ahead ways onto the strait, and in our view a fair one: you get two hours to the second bridge and back on a large covered boat, unlimited tea and instant coffee, toilets on board and an 11-language app, for €8–10. What you do not get is a yacht, a live guide or a guaranteed open-deck seat.
Verdict
3.9/ 5
A transparent, licensed agency selling an honest product at a low price. The listing title says "audio guide" and the boat is a big shared tour boat, so expectations are easy to manage. It loses points for the self-guided format, the open deck that is not guaranteed and a check-in walk that adds time.

Who Sea & Land Travel is
Sea & Land Travel Agency is an Istanbul travel agency with an office in Cağaloğlu, on the slope between Sultanahmet and Sirkeci. It trades online as SeaLand Trip and displays its TÜRSAB (Association of Turkish Travel Agencies) certificate in the footer of sealandtrip.com. Do not confuse it with sealandtravel.com, an unrelated shore-excursion agency in Argentina.
Sea & Land is the seller, not necessarily the boat owner. It does not name the vessel, and the boat may belong to one of the tour-boat co-operatives that work the Eminönü waterfront. On Tiqets the same company appears as the legal supplier "SeaLand Trip" on several listings, which is a good sign: Tiqets prints the supplier on every product, so you know who you are dealing with.
The boat and the pier at Eminönü
You do not walk straight onto a boat. The meeting point is the agency's office near Eminönü, where you check in; staff then walk the group to the boat by Eminönü Pier. Allow extra time for this, and keep the voucher handy: the map pin on the booking is the office, not the quay. Eminönü is on the T1 tram (Eminönü stop) and a short walk from Marmaray's Sirkeci station. Our Eminönü pier guide explains the three different boarding points along this waterfront.
The boat itself is a large sightseeing boat with covered indoor seating, a self-service tea urn, Wi-Fi and toilets. The operator says the open-deck seats are "subject to availability and not guaranteed", so if you want the upper deck, board early. It sails in the rain. This is the same kind of boat as most $6–13 "sightseeing cruises" on the platforms; under Turkish rules a commercial yacht carries at most 36 passengers, and this is not one.

Sea & Land prints its route "for reference only": from the Galata Bridge past Ortaköy and under the first bridge (15 July Martyrs Bridge), on to Rumeli Hisarı and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, then back past Anadolu Hisarı, Kandilli, Çengelköy, Beylerbeyi and Üsküdar to the Maiden's Tower. That is the standard 2-hour loop, and it covers the main palaces and fortresses.
For the best views, sit on the left going north (the European palaces and Rumeli Hisarı) and on the right coming back. On the sunset departure, the sun drops over the European side, which is on your right on the way back. The sightseeing cruise guide lists what you will pass in order.
Prices: direct or on a platform?
Sea & Land's own site sells its morning, afternoon, sunset and 2-hour cruises at €8 per person, shown as reduced from €10. On GetYourGuide the Bosphorus Sightseeing Cruise Tour with Audio Guide starts at about $8 and had 4.6 stars from more than 6,000 reviews when this page was updated. On Tiqets the Guided Sightseeing Cruise + Audio Guide starts at about $10 (4.2 from 80 verified-buyer reviews). The Tiqets title says "guided"; the operator's own description is multilingual onboard announcements plus the app, so don't expect a personal guide.

Lowest adult price per person in US dollars, checked on October 17, 2026. Boat, departure time and what is included differ between listings: open each one before you pay.
The Headout listing in this price check starts from the same Eminönü point and is likely the same kind of boat, but it has only a handful of reviews. Times and inclusions may differ, so read each listing before choosing.
Sea & Land also sells a full-day Two Continents Tour by Bus and Bosphorus Cruise on Tiqets: about ten hours from 09:00 with hotel pick-up, Beylerbeyi Palace entry, the Pierre Loti cable car, lunch with a soft drink, a licensed guide and the 2-hour cruise. It had no reviews yet when we checked. Its 1-hour cruise on Tiqets is currently off sale for the season.

What travelers should check
Review scores are solid: 4.6 on GetYourGuide from a large base and 4.2 on Tiqets from a smaller one. Rather than rely on the stars, check these points before you book:
- The departure slot. The sunset cruise should leave about 75–90 minutes before sunset; in summer that means around 19:00, in December around 16:15.
- Headphones. The app guide plays on your phone; without headphones you will hear little over the engine.
- The check-in time. Arrive at the office early enough for the walk to the boat.
- Food. Food, extra drinks and tips are not included, but outside food and drink are allowed, so you can bring your own snack.
- Accessibility. The boat has toilets and indoor seating, but the listings do not promise step-free boarding, and one of Sea & Land's Tiqets products is marked as not wheelchair-accessible. Ask before booking.
How to book and cancel
Book on the platform you trust or directly. Sea & Land's own cruises and the Tiqets listing allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before; on GetYourGuide, most listings allow the same, but check the cancellation line on the listing. If the weather turns, the operator decides whether the boat sails. It operates in rain, but a strong lodos (south-westerly wind) can cancel sailings. Platforms then rebook or refund under their own terms.
